From Struggle to Strength: Latecia Bush’s Journey Comes Full Circle

Once a resident of the Frances Bodden Children’s Home, Latecia Bush has risen to become Miss Earth Cayman Islands — and now she’s giving back to the very place that helped shape her.

Through the Beautification Project of the Green House, Latecia is working alongside the CAYS Foundation to create a thriving, sustainable space for the children. This initiative is proudly endorsed by the Earth Day Organization, one of the world’s largest volunteer movements, and is part of a global effort to promote environmental action and local food security through sustainable, regenerative agriculture.

But this project is about more than planting trees — it’s about planting hope, building community, and creating a greener future for Cayman. 🌍✨

Join us this Saturday, August 9th at 9:00 AM at the Frances Bodden Children’s Home to be part of this transformation. Volunteers of all ages are welcome!
