Day One as Queen. Day One of Growth.

We hope you planted your seeds for freedom! 🌱

May 5th marked Latecia Bush’s first official day as Miss Cayman Islands Earth, and what better way to begin her reign than by planting the very first seeds of change! With purpose in her heart and soil in her hands, Latecia kicked off the "Seeds of Freedom" initiative — a symbolic act to honor our history, empower our future, and nurture a greener Cayman for generations to come. Miss Cayman Islands Earth, Latecia Bush, is continuing her mission of sustainability and empowerment by revamping the Greenhouse at the Francis Bodden Girls Home. With support from Caribbean Blooms, the space will be transformed to grow local produce and native plants — creating a beautiful, functional garden the girls can learn from and enjoy. If you’re passionate about greening our community and would like to help with this greenhouse beautification project, we’d love your support — all hands on deck!
